Some things I've made

Yellow dress peeking out in the back was a trial.  Red dresses were for a wedding.
Flower Girl dress

Skirt for a friend.  She has a little girl so the leftover fabric became a skirt for her:)

This one's mine!

Ruffles.  They don't show up well in pics.

Bridesmaid dress.

This one blouses at the waist and she adds a wide belt.  Very cute.

Shortened this one for another friend!

I cut off the bottom just above the top stitched, wide hem and then cut off the amount she wanted it shortened and reattached the hem.  Easy peasy!

This -n- That

Forgot to show you the finished pics of my industrial cart turned coffee table!  I love it.  The decor on it has changed already since I took the picture but I'm too lazy to take another picture, get it off the camera, and upload it.  Actually, I'm too busy.  I am WAY behind on my sewing schedule and I need to be at the sewing machine instead of the computer.  Pray for me that I can accomplish record-breaking amounts of sewing today!

The hails storm we had a few weeks ago.  It was pretty awesome.  We still need to get our vehicle taken in to get the damage fixed.
That is a quarter laying beside the hail balls.
My Columbus customer called me several weeks ago and wanted to know if I could make a pinafore/apron like one she had seen online.  So I did some digging and unearthed this pattern.  I think I purchased it from Amazon.
And this is what I came up with.  When I have some more time I have more pics to post of all the details.  It's made of unbleached muslin and is rather darling:)

Latest skirt.  This one is for a friend but I'm really wishing Joann's still had the fabric - I'd make myself one!  The ruffles took TIME but they are oh so cute it was worth it!

New Skirts

Fun droopy circles.  I made this for a date night with my hubby:)

This awesome fabric came from here.  Unfortunately I think it's all sold out:(  I'm hoping they get more in.  And maybe some more colors??!!  This is my favorite skirt right now.  SO comfy and fun!

This one has been around awhile but it's a favorite too.  I may have to soon make a new one, this one gets washed twice a week sometimes - it's wearing out!

Simple, comfortable knit for these wonderfully hot days we are finally having!!
 More knit
 cotton twill
fun fabric from IKEA * Vintage hem binding

More Skirts!

These I made for a friend.
This brown skirt was a funny length and my friend didn't care for it so I shortened it and added the ruffle she wanted.  I just used the fabric I cut off, cut it in strips, sewed the strips together and gathered the big long piece up, sewed it on and now the skirt is adorable!  Will look great with boots;)
This skirt is not as complicated as it looks - the fabric came already tiered!  How thoughtful:)  One seam, a knit yoke and an elastic waist to keep the thing on!

A simple knit skirt.  Fabric was already bias printed.  Easy, peasy and so comfy to wear!

Little Girl Skirts

A month or two ago a friend sent me some fabric and measurements for her daughter and told me she wanted some skirts for her.  She included a couple skirts that belonged to her daughter and fit her well.  She said she didn't care how I made them.  This is what I came up with.  They were lots of fun to make!
