Not Me! Monday.

MckMama's back with her Not Me! Monday. Yeah! She's the best.

This week I did NOT let a sewing deadline go to the last minute. And it was NOT because I had too much else going on. I never overload myself.

The above is NOT the story of my life lately.

I did not let Little Sister and Middle Sister go without baths for so long I couldn't remember when they'd had one last. Yuck, who would do that to their kids?

I did not forget to have Big Sister finish writing some sentences she was supposed to do for school. And I'm not thinking about finishing them for her!

I did not let the kids talk me into things I didn't have on my list at the grocery. I ALWAYS stay on budget and only get what I have on the list.

We did not buy Middle Sister new tennis shoes just because she wanted them so bad and she looked way too cute in them!

I did not say Good-bye to my husband for another week:-( He won't be gone all week leaving me with the kids, unable to sleep at night.

I haven't been checking MckMama's blog to see if she posts Not Me! Monday early.

Not really anything too exciting that I didn't do this week. Just wanted to join the fun since MckMama is back, and I hadn't done this post for so long anyway. Have a great week and keep track of what you don't do and join the fun next week if you don't this week!!

Not Me! Monday.

It is NOT Monday again. Can't be. 'Cause I'm not still working on last weeks to-do pile.

And that is NOT because I keep stopping my to-do pile to work on 'fun' stuff!

One day this week my hubby did NOT decide to make rice crispy squares using a pan on the stove. {I use the microwave} He did not proceed to set one of my Tupperware bowls on the hot burner after he took the pan off and not realize he had done that till I smelled something burning. It did NOT melt completely through the bottom, completely coating the burner with plastic. I did NOT throw the smoking, smelly thing outside, and I certainly did not throw it away after it was cooled. This did not take me down to 1 burner on my stove that works properly.

I did not totally skip the reading program I had started with middle sister ALL week. It wasn't because I was too busy with my own stuff. And I definitely have not let it go today either. {there is still time today!}

Big Sister did not look totally adorable in her Annie Oakley getup on the day they read their reports. She did not do a wonderful job either!! {pics soon}

I did not sleep most of the day on Sunday (again). I guess sometimes I just have to catch up. (or am I getting old??!!??)

I did not send Big Sister to bed without supper one night after she had been showing a horrible attitude and yelling at me and her Dad. She did not send middle Sister down to get her food. Middle Sister did not tell me about it instead of taking the food to Big Sister. I then did not proceed to relent and let her her have something to eat after she very meekly came to me and said she was sorry for the way she acted. I'm NOT a pushover!

Not Me! Monday

I did NOT miss posting a 'not me' last Monday because I was just too tired from being out-of-town all weekend and too busy with all the things I was supposed to get done the week before last.



I did NOT have way too much planned for last week, and it WASN'T because I didn't get everything done I had planned the week before. And the reason it didn't get done the week before was NOT because I had planned too much for that week. I never overload myself, it isn't good for me or for my family so I NEVER do it!



I did NOT leave my 2 young daughters home with their father on one of his days off work and go shopping. He didn't take off work to babysit he was going to work on my house. I wouldn't do that to him!



I did NOT have to take and serve hot lunch at Big Sister's school on Tuesday. We did NOT have to clean 5 gallons of tea off the floor before lunch because someone spilled it! We did NOT run out of food because the kids all liked it so much they kept coming back for seconds. Little Sister did NOT wet her pants because she was outside and couldn't get in. I did NOT take her skirt, sock, shoes and underwear off and wrap her in her coat while I worked on cleanup of lunch. She did not go on to dump a cup of water on herself! We did NOT load up and go home after that! I did NOT feel like going to bed and bawling when I finally made it home. (I would have but I had a dentist appointment to go to just a couple hours after I got home. If I had gone to bed I'd never have come out!!!) I did NOT go on to get 2 dresses sewed up that day.(they were supposed to have been done the week before!)



I did NOT have a lot of help on Wed. getting ready for Thanksgiving. I can handle making food and cleaning the whole house on top of taking care of 3 kids and a husband. I certainly wouldn't need any help!! And it WASN'T my husband who helped. He would never sweep floors, mop, cook, etc. Oh wait, yes he would, he does it often! Love that man soooo much!!



We didn't have a fun relaxing day on Thursday!!



I didn't (finally) get my Christmas decor out on Black Friday. No crazy shopping for me! I've been dying to get the Christmas stuff out. I did NOT have more boxes than I remembered. I do NOT love to buy new Christmas decor and I DON'T buy more each year.



I did NOT sleep all morning again on Sunday. I think I've been so sleep deprived the past 5 years I can't get enough. If I didn't have to get up I think I'd sleep for a week!



I did NOT write this on Sunday night and then keep checking MckMama's blog to see if I could link this to her and post it early!

Not Me! Monday

Not Me! time again!

I did NOT use my husbands toothbrush one morning. And after discovering it halfway through brushing I DID NOT finish brushing with it thinking 'Oh well.' (What was he thinking buying an orange toothbrush when the one I'm using right now is orange??)

I was NOT up in the night a lot with Little Sister and Middle Sister. I did not have to change Little Sister several nights because she wet the bed and it wasn't because I forgot to get more pull-ups. (I'm NOT forgetful yet)

I absolutely DID NOT sleep in on Sunday - till 11:00 am! Not Me! And I didn't go on to take a 2 hour nap in the afternoon. I'm NOT that desperate for sleep.

I did not pay someone to make Little Sisters birthday cake. I always manage to juggle EVERYTHING and do it all myself. And the cake WAS NOT better than any cake I've ever baked! (oh yes, actually it WAS! It was delicious!)

I'm NOT going to go eat a piece of the leftover cake. I just don't DO that!

Not Me! Monday

It's that time again!

I am NOT thrilled that Middle Sister is (finally) on her way home today!

We did NOT all miss her.

I did NOT sleep till after 10:00 Saturday morning and it wasn't because Little Sister was up 4 times in the night. I can handle having my sleep interupted!

Little Sister did NOT proceed to want to climb in our bed early Sunday morning and I did NOT let her.

I did NOT ignore the laundry (again) the end of the week making todays pile bigger than I like for Monday morning.

I did NOT spend most of my time last week planning and preparing for a baby shower I'm having this week.

Not Me! Monday

It's Not Me! time again! Check out MckMama she started it and is even keeping it going right after having her miracle baby just last Wednesday!

This week I Did Not keep MckMama's blog open most of the time so I could just refresh it whenever I wanted to check for an update.

I have not been looking into unlimited text messaging so I can keep up with MckMama's twitter posts that way!

I Did Not cater to Little Sister WAY too much this past week because she is missing Middle Sister in a BIG way.

I Have Not missed Middle Sister myself at all!

I'm not starting to count the days till Middle Sister is back with us again!

I Did Not tell Big Sister this morning that she could go ahead and write her book report that was due today even though she hadn't finished the last couple of chapters of the book. I didn't go on to tell her that it wouldn't matter because you aren't supposed to tell the ending anyway. I'd never do such a thing, you always have to do everything completely correctly around here!

I didn't let the laundry pile up... again!

I'm not so excited about Stellan's wonderful birth and perfect health that I just have to tell everyone about it!

I Don't love this Not Me fun!!!

Not Me! Monday

Not Me! Monday again! MckMama started this and it is the most fun! Hop over and check out her blog, it's the best! Meanwhile, here is my list of things I certainly DID NOT do this week!

I most definitely Did Not sleep till 10:00 this morning even though Big Sister and Little Sister were both up!

I did not let little sister eat only skittles for breakfast one morning and only chips another! I did not let her eat a swiss cake roll and chips one night before bedtime when she hadn't eaten her supper. No way, we only eat healthy around here!

I did not let Middle Sister and Little Sister wear their pajamas most of the time all week.

I did not make myself a new dress and leave out the sleeve planning to wear a sweater all the time!

I did not have a date with my husband!!! (It's only been months, can't remember the last time!) I didn't leave the house for my date leaving only hot dogs, chips and (boughten)cookies for the babysitter to feed my kids!

I did not ignore my kids last night when they were sent to bed and allow them to move the beds around before they went to sleep!

I am Not allowing Middle Sister to go all the way to Kansas with her Grandma and Grandpa tomorrow! She is Not so excited she can't wait! I'm Not getting her laundry all done to pack her up. And I certainly will NOT miss her while she is gone for 2 weeks!

Not Me Monday!

I've been wanting to join the fun with McKmamma and haven't gotten to it on a Monday yet!

I absolutely DID NOT allow all three of my girls to tear apart a whole newspaper and scatter it in little bits all over my sewing room. And I did not allow this because I wasn't so busy sewing I just wanted them to leave me alone!

I DID NOT let my middle sister and little sister run around in their pj's several days. I always get them dressed the minute they get up so our day flows well and is organized!

I DID NOT let them get out the Polly's, Thomas trains, McQueen cars, dolls, and Little People at the same time. We always put one thing away before we get another out. I Do not let my house get that cluttered and unorganized!

I DID NOT walk past a pile of dirty dishes for 3 days. Everything around here gets washed and put away the minute we are done using it!

I did not neglect my laundry at the end of the week so that now I have a mountain to wash, dry, fold and put away. And I definitely DID NOT leave clean laundry in the laundry basket all weekend.

NOT ME, I'm always very organized and on schedule!
