After the Ice Jam

This is what the river in our town looks like about 20 minutes after a huge ice jam gives way. We have a video of it and it was really moving fast! Some of the ice chunks were rather large too!

As a side note I just have to brag a bit about being the first to comment on a new post of MckMama's! May not seem like a huge deal to some of you but I found it rather exhilarating!!!

Not Me! Monday

It's that time again!

I am NOT thrilled that Middle Sister is (finally) on her way home today!

We did NOT all miss her.

I did NOT sleep till after 10:00 Saturday morning and it wasn't because Little Sister was up 4 times in the night. I can handle having my sleep interupted!

Little Sister did NOT proceed to want to climb in our bed early Sunday morning and I did NOT let her.

I did NOT ignore the laundry (again) the end of the week making todays pile bigger than I like for Monday morning.

I did NOT spend most of my time last week planning and preparing for a baby shower I'm having this week.

What have you NOT done?

If you've never been to MckMama's blog you've got to get over there and check out Stellan's story. I've followed it for several weeks now and HE IS HERE! He is healthy and he is such a wonderful miracle from God. It is so wonderful how MckMama and her family put their unborn baby in the hands of the Almighty God and fully trusted in Him for whatever His will was for baby Stellan. They are such a witness for the Lord! What a blessing they have been given!
Praise HIS name for His wonderful works to the children of men!

MckMama's having her Baby!

MckMama is having Baby Stellan this morning! Take time to pray for her and her family, the doctors, nurses, all involved. There is a prayer vigil going on and we can never have too much prayer. Keep them all in your thoughts and hearts today.
