Deal of the day!

So have you ever heard of Wuslu??
If you haven't and you don't have any extra money ever to spend on stuff for your house just pretend you never heard of it.
If you do occasionally have some cash to spend or if you are needing some things for your house, indeed check it out!
I have not been a follower of Wuslu for very long.  I've seen it talked about here and there, mostly on Miss Mustard Seed's blog.  I checked it out occasionally.  They offer ONE deal per day.  Once that day is over the deal is gone.

You can go back and see the stuff in their 'history'.  After I joined up and followed the site and now get an email with the daily deal every day, I did a little digging through their history.  And found that they offered this rug not too long ago.  I was so disappointed that I had missed it.  It was a great deal and I have seen these rugs here and there and loved them.
I also noticed that on some of the deals they would say 'back by popular demand' or something along that line.  So I emailed them and told them that if they could offer this rug again I would be delighted.  I promptly received an email back saying they had a few left and they gave me a link to buy one!!!!!  I promptly bought it:)

I love how they used to include the ampersand in the alphabet.  For some reason I really like that thing!

Just some editing fun I had over the weekend.

For now my new rug resides here in my dining room nook.  Not sure where it will land, but that's one of the things I like about it - it's 3'x5' so it's easy to move it around.
It is made out of bamboo and has a nonslip backing.  I'm glad I bought it.  I have yet to buy anything else on wuslu but I do check out their deal every day.  You never know when they are going to offer the perfect thing you have been looking for.  Or that perfect gift you haven't been able to find.
And they do offer the stuff at a very good deal!  Check it out:)

Have you found any good deals lately?  Got any 'good deal sites' out there to share?

{No Room In The Inn}

"He went there to register with Mary, who was expecting a child.  While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave girth to her firstborn, a son.  She wrapped Him in cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."  -Luke 2:5-7

Is there room in your heart for Him today???
He wants to reside there!  LET HIM IN!!!!

Just because I like the whole area.  Please ignore the Christmas gifts sitting in the corner.  And the fingernail polish on the table.  I didn't stage the area very well:)

Decked with Christmas Cheer

Cupboard in the dining room.  So fun to add Christmasy stuff to what was already there.

This year my cloche got stuffed full of vintage ornaments.  I wanted to go all silver but that cloche is BIG!  And I didn't have enough silver!

Tiny reindeer - thanks to good ole w@almart!!

I have a funny little 'thing' about old science lab stuff!

Old perfume bottle.  This was mine when I was but a wee lass!

And the reason for the season!  JESUS is why we celebrate!

Autumn Decor

I got a whole box of old clay pots at a garage sale.  All for $2

Habanero and chili peppers from a friend.  Habaneros are almost too hot for us to use in cooking but they make a lovely centerpiece on the kitchen table.

Time for the 'greenhouse' to come back inside.  It is perched on top of my refrigerator.  And I'm liking it better ever day!

My dining room nook.  Again.  I really like how this vignette looks:)

My kitchen window.  The rosemary was a lot taller but I used a bunch of it to make Pioneer Woman's Rosemary Potatoes.  I really really hope I can keep these plants alive for a few months anyway.  Fresh rosemary is the best. (Along with fresh basil. I should try to grow it inside too.)

Don't forget to enter my giveaway in the post below this!!  Ends next Tuesday, November 1st.
