There is nothing quite like family

My Sister, My Friend

God placed us in the same family, gave us the same genetics - but with our own special little quirks that make us unique.  God blessed us with parents who love each other and love us too!  Because we are sisters we will always be friends.  No matter how far apart we may travel in this world we have a tie that will always bring us back together - we are family.  We spend these childhood years, carefree.

Enjoying life, making memories, growing, learning, laughing, sometimes crying, loving.

Our hearts are weaving together into a lasting, lifelong bond.  There is nothing in the world quite like a sister.  Just ask our Mom.  She has a sister too!

(Brothers are pretty cool too. Mom says so, and she should know she has one of those too!  But God chose to make us a family of Sisters!  And we like it that way.  It works for us.)

A Hot Day in May

This is what the 3 sisters did the other day when it was hot. They wanted to get the sprinkler out and I finally caved and said yes. I was convinced they would not play in the water any longer than it took to get all wet and drippy and then they would trail back into my house, bringing water, grass and dirt with them. But they REALLY wanted to so I said yes and tried to forget the messes they made last year with water.
They proved me wrong and stayed out till suppertime, came in, ate in their swimsuits and headed right back out. This is what they did instead of hooking up the sprinkler!

There's nothing quite like playing in the water on a hot summer day! The pool is filling as I write this so the next hot day we have all 4 of us will most likely be 'playing' in water;-)

Cold Weather is here.

This past Saturday Big Sister and Little Sister decided to play outside on the porch. They started out huddled together under a couple of blankets and ended up coming back in for more and more outerwear. This is what they ended up looking like.

Little Sister decided she could ride on the 'Little People' airplane. Not sure she will get to California anytime soon but she had fun!
