More Sewing!

This is a stack of fabric waiting to be cut into skirts. I cut out 12 skirts after I took this picture and now they are waiting to be sewn. And I still have at least half a dozen more I can cut!! They aren't all for me, I'll be selling some of them - I'll let you know when and where!!!!

Sewing Fine Seams!

This is a skirt I just made for me. I wore it last Friday night on a date with my wonderful husband:-) The fabric is Anna Maria Horner's 'Volumes'. I sewed a black grosgrain ribbon down the center. {TIP: if you want to sew a ribbon down the center, make the front with a seam. Then you just sew the ribbon right on top of the seam and you don't have to worry about getting it straight - just follow the seam!}


This is fabric and ribbon I have to make a skirt for a friend. Ribbon goes on the bottom of finished skirt.


This is a tablecloth to be made into a skirt for my friend too. I'll try to post some pics soon of how I decided to work this!!

And soon-to-be skirt number 3 for my friend!

Sew a fine Seam!

This is what is staring me in the face tonight! I know I should sew a few seams but I'm tired so I don't know if I'll get myself talked into it or not!
Kara, if you are reading this, these dresses are cut out and ready to go. You will wear them to the Country Living Fair! Why get in a hurry???

Our garage sale went well today, tomorrow we are advertised to the public and we will put signs out. It is usually our busiest day. 50% chance of showers, Hanna and Ike are pushing this way right behind Gustov!
