Sarah Jane Studios

I can never again say that 'I NEVER win giveaways.' (I've actually won 3 different giveaways in about 3 years or so)  It can seem like you enter and enter and enter and you never win but the more you enter the higher your odds of winning.  I recently won a really fun giveaway over at Urban Farmgirl.  It was for a set of 8 (yes EIGHT!) of the most darling embroidery patterns ever from Sarah Jane Studios.  She has the most delightful stuff GO CHECK IT OUT!!
It's been a long time since I did any embroidery.  I'm thinking this looks like a really fun project to have to work on in the evenings.  Maybe do the embroidery and then sew the piece to the outside of a bag?  Or make a quilt with several of them?  Oh the possibilities!

These will be so fun for my girls to work on.  They have been doing some embroidery lately and are enjoying it.  Little Sister espeically is into it.  I show her once what she needs to do and she says 'OH! I see!' and off she goes.  Threads her own needle and knots her own knots.  Even sewed her work to her jammie pants the other night, fixed it herself and had a good laugh over it!
She launched her first fabric line in the spring of last year.  It is darling.  I want some of all of it!
I really like that 'family tree' print at the top left and also that hopscotch print.  L.O.V.E.
She also has some boy prints too.  So go look at all her great fabric HERE.

Her blog is delightful too.  Love her design.  Makes me smile.

Thanks a bunch Urban Farmgirl for hosting the giveaway and Thanks to Sarah Jane Studios for giving the patterns away!  Cannot wait to use them.

Do you do embroidery?  Have any ongoing projects?  Do your kids like it?

Super Fun Giveaway!!!!

I LOVE scrapbooking. You didn't know that?  Well, that would be because I've never shared any of my scrapbooking with  you.  And that would be because I am just too busy to do any scrapbooking.  It's also getting harder and harder to find room to store stuff around this place as the girls get bigger and acquire more 'stuff' of their own.  And scrapbooking takes a LOT of stuff.  I don't think I've actually scrapbooked since Little Sister was born.  I do love to edit pics on the computer though and I have thought that scrapbooking on the computer would most likely be faster than the
do-it-by-hand version.  Just never tried any of it out.
And now I will try to get to the point of this post:)
I was recently privileged to have someone like my blog enough to offer me a great giveaway to share with all of you! My Memories Suite is a computer scrapbooking program.  They offered it to me to review and I LOVE it!  LOVE LOVE LOVE it!  It's extremely easy to use and is just so much fun.
Take a look at some of the pages I put together.  Very quickly too I might add!

That's just a small sample of the stuff you can do with this program.  I'm in LOVE with it!  Did I mention that?  I really mean it.  I really like playing with it.  Little Sister may get her own scrapbook yet:)   Anyway, they want to give one of my readers this software for FREE!  Isn't that so great of them?!!  If you've never tried digital scrapbooking software it's time you did.  It's the best. The My Memories Suite comes with lots of backgrounds, embellishments, shapes, etc. loaded into it.  You can add music, make videos and more.  I haven't tried all of that yet but if it's as easy as the rest of it has been there will be NO problem.  And if that is not enough, you can also buy additional paper and embellishments from the My Memories website.  There are tons of cool things they offer for very reasonable prices.

So.  Are you ready to enter the giveaway?  Just leave me a comment on this post to enter.  If you have time I'd encourage you to check out the My Memories site.  You can make photo books, videos, and cards to name a few of the things you can do there.
The Mymemoriessuite is valued at $40.  One of you will get it for FREE!
Also, they have given me a coupon code for $10 off that I can pass on to the rest of you!

Here is the coupon code to purchase Mymemories suite:
STMMMS83367

http://www.mymemories.com/digital_scrapbooking_software click this link and enter the coupon code when you purchase to get the $10 off.  You won't be sorry you bought it!

When you buy the software, you just download it to your pc. Nice and easy. And then you get a coupon code for $10 off your purchase of some cool stuff to use in your scrapbooking!

Giveaway starts Tuesday, October 25th at 9:00am Eastern Daylight Time.
Giveaway ends Tuesday, November 1st at 12:00 noon Eastern Daylight Time.
Giveaway open only to residents of the United States.
I will use Random.org to choose the winner

I WON!

Look at the fun giveaway I WON! I still can't believe I actually won something. I never win! Mrs. K fixed up this adorable bucket of goodies as a giveaway for her 100th post. Hop on over and check out her blog, it is really cute. She regularly changes her background on her blog to match the season - it is so cool!! This bucket contains cookies, chocolate, notepad, hand sanitizer, pocket-sized pack of Kleenex, and a gift certificate to Grounds for Pleasure. My husband got pretty excited when I showed him the GC! I guess he thinks he gets to go along?! Sounds good to me, I think I'll use it as an excuse to get a babysitter and take him out for breakfast sometime soon!
My girls thought the chocolate was for them! No sooner had the cellophane came off the bucket and Little Sister had grabbed it and ran off with it!!! She's only 3! Can't tell she has 2 older sisters can you??!
She wouldn't even stand still for me to take a picture of her with the candy bar! That is why all the pictures I have of her are blurry. She did eventually give it back and we all had some. She and Big Sister decided they didn't need much of it after all when they discovered it was dark chocolate! Great for me and T, we like dark chocolate so we got most of it. Thanks again Mrs. K, it was so fun winning this. Glad we could meet up at church and you didn't have to ship it.
