More Vintage Sewing Notions
All that seam vintage seam binding -120 unopened packages of it-$10. Those huge rolls of lace seam binding? $1 each. And I now have my first red tomato pin cushion!! Brings my pin cushion collection up to 5. Too bad they didn't have any vintage scissors. There are tons of old buttons there, I'm thinking about calling them and asking what they want for the whole lot of them.
Anyway, I came home a happy girl today. And I had beautiful new baskets from McMaster and Storm to organize it all in. I highly recommend these baskets.

Good Morning!I laughed when I read your post..i was just w/ a friend {who spent the wk.end in OH.}& she was telling me all about Smiths & how I'd like it :). & by the looks of your loot i'm sure i would! i love the vintage polyester seam binding,I use it in the shop for lots of things!
You need some kind of collage or board in your sewing area with some of that stuff! Those le chic button cards from the garage sale are so cute!
Morgan has been stashing up on all of Smith's buttons. She loves them and has started using them on headbands.
Makes me shudder when I remember the stuff I got rid of a few years ago! MOM
Me too, Mom, me too. Sigh. Seems I always get rid of what I later wish I hadn't:)
