Happy Independence Day!

Independence. Freedom. Liberty. Justice. Fought for and won. Greatly celebrated.

Today it seems to be a rather shaky 'freedom'. I am coming to realize that we really don't live in a truly free country anymore.

We'll have friends over, grill out, go see fireworks, all in celebration of our nations birthday. But let's remember that true freedom comes through CHRIST alone. Through the cross we have the only real freedom available to fallen mankind. So no matter how many of our earthly 'freedoms' are stripped from us we can still be free, and free indeed!
