Is YOUR broom standing??

No strings, no glue, just balanced. And yes, it's an angle broom. Yesterday at Storytime one of the other Mother's there went to Dollar General to pick up a few things. When she returned she told us about how they had all the brooms standing up like this, lining the aisles. They told her it has something to do with the tilt of the earth, planets lining up, ???, and it would last for 9 more days and then wouldn't happen again for 90 years. The info I've skimmed on the internet hasn't given me much info and I don't have time to research it! I just know that MY broom is standing on its own right now. In 8 more days we shall see if it still stands or not:) Travis was able to get a push broom to do the same thing at work. Interesting. So...is YOUR broom standing?

Unknown said...: I have to stop into walmart in G-ville before work tomorrow and I plan on making an **extra special** trip to the broom aisle and doing an experiment. Then I plan on leaving the brooms in the aisle for on-lookers. ;)
