{Fabric~Fabric~Fabric!}
I went shopping yesterday with Kara. Now I'm all stocked up with fabric to make some really rockin' skirts!! Thanks Kara for all the help picking out fabric:) McKell and Sara, thanks for being so patient with us!!
I am loving all the fun stuff I've got to work with now. If you see anything you like you'd better get your size to me and specify which one you want!!
First thing ya gotta do when sewing is shrink the fabric. This was right before the pile headed to the washer. Ended up making 2 washer loads!
And this was the disaster my sewing desk was in today. To the right is the stack I have to get sewed up before I start on the pile I just bought. Or at least I should do them first:) No promises though.

Do I see "ikea" fabric in that pile? Looks fun ...well for you :)

I like the heavier (thicker) fabric for skirts.
You guessed it alee! I am using some IKEA fabric:) Love all their funky stuff. So fun to 'think outside the box' I'm doing a lot of that lately. Any ideas anyone has to share I'm always open to!

...Oh bummer I need a small $3 item from Ikea. i haven't been able to justify going for one little thing.....although anthro not to far away...hmm.... i can always justify going there!!
